Flute Workshops

I run monthly “Flute Choir” workshops for my flautists, where we focus on having fun playing as a group and learning new pieces together. All flautists are welcome, any age and level. Custom music, arranged by me, and refreshments are provided.

Other Workshops

Please note, I do need to charge a small fee for workshops in order to cover my costs. I try to keep charges as low as possible, and I do not make a profit on these events. Where workshops are run by a guest teacher, the fee allows me to pay them for their time as well as covering overheads.

Alexander Technique with Zoe Challenor: Sunday 10th February 2019

4.30-6pm, Quaker Meeting House, 930 Bristol Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6NB. An interactive workshop exploring the basics of Alexander Technique. Suitable for over 12s. Non-musicians also welcome!

Aural Workshop: Sunday 10th March 2019

4.30-6pm, Quaker Meeting House, 930 Bristol Road, Birmingham, B29 6NB. Group learning will be used to de-mystify the Aural tests from Prep Test level up to Grade 3. We’ll build musicianship skills and practice for your exams in a fun and informal way. You don’t have to be taking an exam to attend, though – these sessions are beneficial for everyone! No instruments or books are needed, and parents/siblings are welcome to either stay and join in, or drop off/pick up as needed. Refreshments will be provided.
